Get Involved

In Christ, all of us are God's "poetry" (the Greek behind the word normally translated "workmanship" in Ephesians 2:10).  All of us are called to live as artfully for the King as we can - obeying boldly and living creatively and expressively.  We are all called to praise God in song as well (Ephesians 5:19).  At the same time, we also believe that God calls certain individuals to lead his people in song and art.  We believe this call is evidenced by a humble and teachable desire to engage others in worship, by musical or artistic gifting, and by a diligent commitment to cultivate that gifting.  We believe that God equips those whom he commissions and we expect that those who lead us in all areas of ministry have exceptional commitment, talent, and desire.

There are several areas in which people can be involved on the worship team.  We are continually looking for people to expand our creative resources.  In addition, Orangewood has many small groups and other events that involve worship and we urge you to consider how you might lead others in worship through those venues.  If you have skills in other areas not listed that you believe could effectively be used for worship, we would love to hear from you.  Feel free to contact Jack Michels.
