CPI Conference in Japan

November 11, 2013

Below is a letter from the team helping with the CPI conference. Please continue to pray for them!

First of all, I want to thank you for continuing to pray for our team here in Japan!

Today was day two of our adventure.

We got up bright and early to travel from Honda to Hakone for the CPI conference. Praise the Lord for granting us traveling mercies and for allowing us to arrive safely.

The day was spent transforming the children’s wing into a fun filled place for the kids to come worship, learn, and play while their parents are attending the conference. Music, laughter, cardboard planes, balloons, snacks and colorful streamers filled the halls as our team worked together to get the job done.

Tomorrow the pre-conference and registration will begin and Wednesday will bring the first full day of the conference. At this point we are expecting 80 kids, but the number could change as the week goes on.

Please pray for a time of refreshment and renewal for the missionary families that are attending the conference. Pray for the kids to feel comfortable and safe in our care as this is the first time that many of the babies and younger children will be separated from their parents.

Please continue to pray for health for the team as several of the team members continue to struggle with physical pain and digestive issues. And most of all please continue to pray that God would use us mightily to serve Him and glorify Him this week as we seek to minister to the children and families that will be in attendance.

May the Lord bless you for your continued dedication to intercessing for our team.

Sincerely,

The CPI Team
