Maitland Community Preschool

The mission of Maitland Community Preschool is to lead our children to know God and His world by providing a solid foundation for life and learning.

At Maitland Community Preschool we believe that each child is uniquely created by God. The purpose of our preschool is to help children grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. We believe parents should be the primary teachers of their children; therefore our role is to support and encourage parents in the nurture and training of their children. We believe that children learn best in a loving, caring environment where they may experience the awe and wonder of God’s world through hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities.

As Maitland Community Preschool is a ministry of Orangewood Presbyterian Church, we support the Children’s Ministries mission and vision statements of teaching children to:

  • Know and worship God
  • Understand God’s grace through Jesus and the Bible
  • Share Christ with others both near and far
