Summer Revitalization Project

This summer, pardon our dust as we spruce up several areas in our building!

Our fellowship hall is getting some much-needed improvement. This room is used every school day as the middle school and high school cafeteria; after school for extracurricular activities; and every Sunday for our SALT class, OKids and Backstage in the afternoon, in addition to special events, meetings and meals.

Updates include flooring, paint, new tables and chairs, and other technological and aesthetic improvements.

Estimated cost: $60,000
This portion has already been fully funded.

Our sanctuary is getting an updated look, beginning with brand-new, cushioned bleachers! Our current retractable bleachers have been in use since Orangewood’s original building was completed in 1988. In addition, the removable carpeting will be replaced and the gym floor will be refinished and repainted.

Estimated cost: $325,000
This portion has already been fully funded.

Aesthetics and Acoustics
The unique nature of our dual-purpose gym and sanctuary means that sound quality is affected by the shape and materials of the room. These aesthetic and acoustic enhancements will improve the worship experience during our Sunday services, as well as functionality of this shared space for the multitude of other worship, fine arts, sports and community events that take place throughout the year.

Estimated cost: $275,000
We are still in need of your generous giving to fund this portion of the project.

All giving to the revitalization project beyond the $275,000 goal will be used for further improvements in the fellowship hall, foyer and sanctuary.
