Sunday Studies

Sunday Studies are adult educational classes to bring depth and understanding into a study of the Bible and topics of Christian faith.

Sunday Studies are offered in the winter and fall of each year at 9:00am on Sunday morning. Contact Christy Gambrell with any questions.

The most recent session of Sunday Studies was Parenting with Purpose, taught by children’s director, Maggie Moore

Orangewood Children’s Ministry partners with parents in pointing our children to Christ and equipping them to live for Him. Much of the time and energy of our staff and volunteers is spent with children, but this spring, Maggie Moore, our Children’s Ministry Director, will be leading a Sunday Studies class aimed at “Parenting with Purpose” for young families.

Topics covered:
March 19 – Obedience- a place of blessing

March 26 – Kingdom focus- it’s not about us

April 2  Infinite grace for inadequate people

April 9  – Developmental stages matter

April 23  –  Sinking it in

April 30 – Listening and responding along the way

Childcare: While this class is in session, childcare and Sunday school classes for babies through elementary-aged children will be on the children’s hallway.
