Student Ministry

Orangewood Student Ministry is a place where every student can experience the gospel of grace. It’s our dear desire that the next generation will have a tangible understanding of God’s grace and how it changes us, our church, our city, and our world. We offer weekly meetings for middle and high school students called Collide.MS and Core.HS as well as more in-depth small group bible studies called Ignite.

We’re so excited about this new school year— and there are some new things in our Student Ministry, too.

For middle schoolers, we hold a weekly youth group meeting on Wednesday nights where we play games, eat snacks, hear the Word, and apply it to our lives. We are passionate about helping students engage and connect to the Lord, each other, adult/high school leaders, and the church.

For high schoolers, we hold a weekly youth group meeting on Sunday nights. Here, students gather together in a setting that cultivates their relationship with the Lord, one another, adult leaders, and with the church. We want this to be a comfortable space where students are able to ask questions about what it means to be a Christian, dig into his Word, and engage his world. In addition, we want it to be a place where students are able to experience genuine fellowship – games, food, fun, and all!

Ignite groups are small groups of 4-8 people organized around your grade and gender that meet at varying times of the week. It is meant to be a safe place where students are able to share and hear one another talk about their lives, relationships, and walk with the Lord. These groups are centered around applying the Word to life and praying for one another. We also have so much fun together!
