Q & A with Will Stewart, our new Student Ministry Summer Intern!
Johannah Huber

We’re excited to announce that Will Stewart is our new Student Ministry Summer Intern! While Will and his family have made Orangewood their home church, we have supported them as they have been serving as missionaries in Japan for many years!

Hey Will! We’re so happy to have you on staff with us for the summer as our new Student Ministry Intern! Can you tell us a little bit more about yourself?

Will with his family

Tell us a little bit about your family:

Me and my family are “Mission to the World” (MTW) missionaries to Japan, and we absolutely love it there. We all love to talk, laugh, and tell stories. My Mom (Lisa) taught Kindergarten at Orangewood Christian School (OCS) before moving to Japan, and my sister (Isabel) recently graduated from OCS! She will be attending Belmont University in the fall.

Where are you from?

I grew up in Shin-Urayasu, Japan (right next to Tokyo Disneyland!)

What drew you to intern at Orangewood?

So many people at this church have loved me and my family over the years, and the idea of serving in Orangewood’s community was exciting.

What are you excited about for your new role?

I’m looking forward to building relationships with students and the rest of the church family at Orangewood. I am also excited about how God will grow my understanding of Himself and His Church through this internship.
