Our members participate in the life changing story of Jesus through pathways of service with our local ministry partners and neighbors. These pathways are defined within the categories of Relief, Rehabilitation, and Development.

Relief Serve Opportunities

Choices Women’s Clinic: 

Mission: Choices Women’s Clinic exists to empower abortion determined women and men facing unplanned pregnancies to make healthy life choices through medical services, education, and ongoing support through the love of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to reach every woman in greater Orlando who is at risk for abortion so no one has to choose abortion.

Opportunities: A variety of opportunities are available for individuals, families, and groups on a regular basis or for special events: (Patient Services, Hospitality, Special Events, Work Teams, Baby Showers, and Prayer). Some age restrictions for patient services.

MNA Disaster Response Warehouse:

Mission: The Charles H. Jones Family Disaster Response Center provides excellent opportunities to get involved in disaster response through volunteer and training opportunities at the center, donating funds and/or supplies, and praying for the ministry. 

Opportunities: Individuals, families, and small groups can serve by packaging disaster kits (flood buckets and hygiene kits) on an as-needed basis.

The Penitent Thief:

Mission: The Penitent Thief teaches classes in Florida institutions for returning citizens who are soon to be released, in local communities for those already released and to members of the community to promote awareness. We help our program participants become productive members of society and where appropriate help them to restore their families. The Penitent Thief offers counseling, education, and life and work skills training. It also provides need-based financial assistance. 

Opportunities: Individuals can serve through donations, training of life-skills, and various community events designed to build community and care.

Second Harvest: 

Mission: To create hope and nourish lives through a powerful hunger relief network, while multiplying the generosity of a caring community. Inspiring and engaging our community to end hunger and help our neighbors thrive.

Opportunities: Groups can serve, along with children above the age of 10, with adult volunteers, or 16 without an adult, to sort food. 



Rehabilitation Serve Opportunities

Orlando Children’s Church:

Mission: OCC is a Saturday morning program for underserved youth in the greater Orlando area.  Every week, kids from kindergarten through 12th grade come to OCC to have breakfast, spend time with friends and caring volunteers, and learn more about what it means to follow the way of Jesus. We believe that love and hope change lives.

Opportunities: Individuals, families, and groups can serve any Saturday by preparing breakfast, playing games and sports with children, and helping lead groups.

Grace Medical: 

Mission: To be a medical home reflecting the heart of Christ by offering the highest level of health care to those in our community who need it most, regardless of insurance and cost barriers.

Opportunities: Fully vaccinated adults can serve throughout the weeks in non-clinical support roles, and licensed medical professionals can serve in various medical capacities. 

Every Kid Outreach: 

Mission: EKO’s mission is to empower Every Kid to reach their brightest future. Through wholesome programs, our goal is for students to be spiritually, physically, and emotionally healthy, to be of good character and to have the tools to become successful and productive citizens.

Opportunities: Individuals, families, and small groups can serve EKO through after-school programs, including playing games, helping with homework, and being with the kids of the Boys and Girls Club.



Development Serve Opportunities

Faith and Finance: 

Mission: To provide practical, Biblically-based personal financial management tools that are relevant for those of modest financial means.

Opportunities: Individuals can serve throughout a 10-week course by encouraging and supporting class participants. Women who are sensitive to the challenges faced by racial minorities are particularly needed.

Jobs Partnership: 

Mission: Mission-Preparing people for life and work with biblical principles. Vision-Restored hope and dignity through faith and work. Core Values-Hope through Faith, Opportunity through partnership, Purpose through serving others, Empowerment through training. 

Opportunities: Individuals, families, and small groups can serve in larger capacities as various coaches involved in the classes, or through serving food for our participants.

Elevate: 

Mission: A Central Florida where all at-risk youth have the tools, character qualities, and hope to succeed in life. Mission: Building long-term, life-changing relationships with urban youth, equipping them to thrive and contribute to their community.

Opportunities: Best served by individuals through financial partnership and site visits. Opportunities include Financial Investment, attending/hosting a Site Visit, speaking to Elevate Classes, and helping with job shadowing
