Hey Maggie! We’re so happy to have you on staff with us as our new Student Ministry Coordinator! Can you tell us a little bit more about yourself?

What drew you to Orangewood?

What are you excited about for your new role?

I’m super excited to get back into student ministry again. I’m looking forward to meeting all the students, doing fun games, and leading small groups the most!

 

What were you doing before you came to Orangewood?

Where are you from?

Originally I am from Lakeland, but moved to Tallahassee (go Noles!) for college in 2015 and stayed until 2022. Now we live in Longwood!

Tell us a little bit about your family.

Me and my husband Ryan have been married for about 2 ½ years now! My parents have been together for 40 years. I have a sister, a brother in law, and the world’s cutest  niece (Ruby), and my sister and her husband are in the process of adopting for the second time!

 

Favorite food?

Any kind of yellow curry. Chicken Korma, butter chicken, or yellow Thai curry. And steak cooked medium rare.

Favorite place to eat?

Thailicious or Cava

 

Guilty pleasure?

Survivor

 

Favorite author?

I read about 20 crime/thriller books yearly I but don’t have a favorite author.

 

Favorite music?

Avett Brothers, Leon Bridges, Forrest Frank

Hidden talent:

I studied Russian in college! But I don’t remember much of it, sadly.

 

Fun fact: 

When I was 12, and my parents weren’t home, I drove a car into a dried-up lake across the street from our house, but I got it back in the driveway before they got home.
