The mission of Maitland Community Preschool is to lead our children to know God and His world by providing a solid foundation for life and learning.
Our vision is that each child who attends MCP will grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Our role is to support and encourage parents in the nurture and training of their children. We believe that children learn best in a loving, caring environment where they may experience the awe and wonder of God’s world through hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities.
As MCP is a ministry of Orangewood Church, we support the Children’s Ministries mission statement of inviting every person (including our preschoolers) into the life-changing story of Jesus.

2025-26 TUITION & FEES
Registration Fee
Per child, the non-refundable, annual registration fee is due with registration.
Current MCP families = $100
New Families and all Kindergarten students = $150
Tuition
Tuition is an annual fee divided into 10 equal monthly payments. The first month’s tuition is due June 1, or by the date specified in your enrollment confirmation letter from MCP if registered after June 1. September-May tuition is due on the first day of each month. A $20 late fee will be charged for tuition payments received in the office after the 10th of each month. You may also choose to pay annual tuition in one lump sum. If paid on or before June 1, you will realize a 3% discount on tuition.

Materials and Security Fee
The materials and security fee helps to cover the cost of consumable supplies, speech screenings, class photos, security, and other materials for the children. The materials fee is due June 1, or by the date specified in your enrollment confirmation letter from MCP if registered after June 1.
VPK INFO
Florida’s Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) program provides funding for every 4-year-old child in the state to attend a high-quality Voluntary Prekindergarten Program to prepare them for success when they enter kindergarten the following year. VPK funding is available to all children for the 2025-2026 school year who will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025.
Parents of children with spring/summer birthdays may also elect to delay enrollment in VPK until the following year (when they will be 5). However, children are only eligible to participate in the VPK program for one school year.

KINDERGARTEN INFO & FORMS
Our Kindergarten is a part-time program meeting Monday-Friday, 9:00-1:15. Each class has a Lead Teacher and Assistant teacher, and is capped at 14 children.
Our Kindergarten students may participate in Florida School Choice Scholarships. This funding will cover the majority of Tuition for Kindergarten. In order to participate, please visit StepUpForStudents.org to enroll your child. Our school number is 7294: Please note that we must have your child’s Award Number before school begins.
