Acapulco Mission Trip
11–14 December 2024
We share the story of Jesus through long-term relationships with our partners and neighbors around the world.
Each year, over 100 people go on short-term trips to serve alongside our key international partners to provide teaching, medical, dental, and construction support.
We have had a relationship with Casa Hogar for over 20 years. This faith-based children’s home in Acapulco cares for abandoned and orphaned children— providing a safe and loving environment where each child enjoys quality education, nutrition, medical, and psychological care.
Our longest partnership of over 30 years is with Armonia Ministries in Oaxaca, Mexico. This ministry, founded by Saul and Pilar Cruz, provides residence homes to indigenous high school and university students who otherwise would not have educational opportunities beyond the 8th grade.
We have been blessed to serve the citizens of rural Honduras for over 20 years. Each year, we provide medical care, a full pharmacy, eye care, eyeglasses, parasite deworming medications, and a wide-ranging children’s ministry program to people living in the villages of Honduras.
We have worked with the Evangelical Church in Greece for over 10 years. Each year, we visit and serve in a variety of ways—helping refugees, caring for trafficked women, supporting church plants among many ethnic and philosophical groups, and helping in the Greek Bible College.
For over 15 years, Orangewood has enjoyed a relationship with ministry leaders in and around Turkey. We have relished supporting them as they serve in an exceedingly challenging context. While we cannot put much in writing about this ministry, we can say that the Lord is working in big ways.
Every other year we send a group to Japan to help facilitate a conference for missionaries, church planters, and pastors in Japan. This ministry has been going strong for almost 20 years and has been a great encouragement to Japanese ministers and to us.
We have supported missions in Israel for over 8 years. We visit every 18 months— meeting with and serving believers from a multitude of nationalities and backgrounds. Every visit is a life-changing experience, and we are so encouraged by the faithfulness of the people serving.
