Meet our new Administrative Assistant, Liz Recca!
Johannah Huber

We’re excited to welcome a familiar face to our staff team: Orangewood Member Liz Recca!

Liz is joining us on staff as our Administrative Assistant, bringing her organizational skills, her attention to detail, and just a little bit of gentle “Pastor wrangling”.

Liz with her two daughters, and husband at our Easter Service!

Liz is originally from Columbus, Indiana. Family is at the heart of who she is: she and her husband, Justin have been married for over 20 years. Their daughters are Sydney(19) and Sophie (15).

While Liz might be new to staff, she’s no stranger to Orangewood. Liz has been a member since 2014, and you’ve probably seen her whole family serving in nursery! Her daughters have attended Orangewood Christian School (OCS) since kindergarten. Sydney just graduated from OCS, and Sophie is still attending as a sophomore.

Her experiences as both a stay-at-home mom and the Executive Director of the Space Coast Apartment Association for 17 years has given her a unique blend of patience, leadership, and organizational skill!

She’s excited to bring her experience to our team and work at a place that she’s called home in more ways than one for years: we’re excited to have her join us!

A Few Fun Facts!

Liz clearly loves Italian food, as her favorite food is pizza and her favorite place to eat is Nonno’s (somebody get her an Italian vacation!).

Her guilty pleasure? The Holidays Reeses’s cups, and she doesn’t discriminate: any holiday cup will do.

She enjoys books by Nancy Atherton, and listens to all kinds of music, though if she has to pick, it’s 80s all the way.

There’s more than meets the eye with Liz: she has a hidden talent for baking/cooking (we might just have to sample her skills as a staff!) and she can even slalom water ski: yes, that’s a real thing!

Liz and her family!

We’re so excited to have Liz on our team and can’t wait for you to get to know her! Be sure to give her a warm welcome when you see her around.
