Our men’s ministry exists to unleash men to be all that God calls them to be, authentically living free, loving God and others.
You aren’t meant to walk the journey of faith alone, so be strengthened as a part of a community of men who care for, encourage and challenge each other through all circumstances. Our men’s ministry offers Band of Brothers, an early morning weekly gathering on Thursdays, which focuses on Biblical teaching, small group discussion and prayer.
Band of Brothers (BOBs) exists so that we, as followers of Jesus, can enter into each other’s lives and fulfill Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” We regularly challenge each other to be disciples who are serious about advancing the Kingdom of God. We seek to step up and be active in worship, community, and service. We encourage each other to reject passivity, accept responsibility, and lead courageously as we live our lives in the power of our Lord.
This year, we will be studying the life of David. He was the ‘man after God’s own heart.’ And yet, how could that be said of a man with David’s issues? Is it possible that the same thing could be said of us, as we struggle to live our lives in this profoundly broken world?
Band of Brothers meets on Thursday mornings from 6:30-7:30am at Orangewood in The Upper Room (260) Come at 6:15am if you’d like to eat breakfast with us! Join our group in our Church Center app to stay connected with this encouraging ministry.
