Women’s Ministry

Our women’s ministry focuses on understanding and applying Scripture to life, as we care for and learn from each other.

Through our women’s ministry, you will be loved and equipped to grow in your walk with the Lord, disciple others, and serve the church and our community. For more information about Women’s Ministry or to join the email list, contact Women’s Ministry Director, Christy Gambrell.

Bible Studies

Read Scripture, discuss with other women and apply it to your life while learning in a safe and welcoming environment. Three meeting times are offered weekly to fit your schedule and childcare needs. New Bible studies begin in January and September of each year, and women are welcome to join at any time.

“Who Will Deliver Us?: The book of Judges”

This fall, our women’s ministry is studying one of the most dramatic books in the Old Testament–the book of Judges. Through stories scandalous enough to rival a modern reality TV show, we can see how the repeating cycle of halfway discipleship constantly leave the people of Israel distressed, wondering, who will deliver us? As we see God’s redemption over and over, these trashy tales from history point us towards our true redeemer, Jesus.

New this semester, a no-homework-required option is available.

Three meeting times are offering throughout the week.

Click on a time below to register.

Tuesday morning from 9:30-11:30am

at the church. Childcare provided.

Tuesday evening at 7:00-8:30pm

at a home in Altamonte Springs.

Wednesday morning at 6:30-7:30am

at the church.

Retreat

Take time to rest, relax and grow in relationships during our annual women’s retreat. All women are invited to retreat for a weekend as we worship together, learn more about a specific topic of Christian growth and have a rejuvenating experience through a balance of fun activities and restful quiet. More details on our next women’s retreat are coming soon.

Listen to talks from our 2016 women’s retreat, Poured Out, during which our women’s ministry director, Christy Gambrell, and other women in the church spoke about avenues of God’s grace and how we can experience God’s presence even in the midst of spiritual dryness.
