Welcome to Orangewood Church! We are a community of believers who are so deeply loved by God that we cannot help but pursue the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom. We invite you to learn more about Orangewood: where we came from, what we believe in and how you can get involved.
Where do you go from here? We believe that the best growth happens in community, which is why we have communities for every age and stage in life.
For adults, we encourage you to get involved in a community group, which are mixed-generation small group gatherings in homes. We also offer weekly men’s gatherings and women’s Bible studies for learning and support.
For children and teenagers, there’s a weekly meeting for every age group that features both large-group teaching and small-group discussion. Yourchildren and students won’t get lost in the crowd as they learn how to know and love God.
One of the joys of living in community is that God provides people to care for you in your times of need. As a church, we rejoice at the opportunity to be the “hands and feet” of Christ by using our talents, time and money to help each other. Whether your needs are spiritual, physical, mental or financial, your church family is eager to provide support for you.
We believe that Christlike service is the natural response of a heart changed by God. When we act out of sacrificial kindness, we are echoing God’s sacrifice and love for us. Serving in community is also a great way to grow more deeply connected with other people.
There are three areas in which we encourage regular service: serving the church body at Orangewood, serving our local community in greater Orlando, and serving ministry partners in countries all throughout the globe.
Christian Education has been a hallmark of Orangewood from the very beginning. We are pleased to provide two schools which teach from a Christian worldview to lead our next generation to be lifelong learners and followers of Christ. We also offer a summer internship for college-age student to gain first-hand ministry experience in a church environment.
Here you can find media resources to listen to the current sermon series, catch up on past sermons, hear the music from each Sunday, and read stories about God’s transforming work in our church and community.
We recognize the Biblical principle of stewardship: everything we have belongs to the Lord. God has provided for us and chooses to allow us to manage his resources here on earth. We strive for financial transparency and the highest level of integrity in the use of our time and physical spaces.
